Our number one priority has always been the wellbeing of our guests, our staff and partners. As we are preparing for the re-opening of our hotel, we would like to put you at ease by letting you know that we will be taking care of you devotedly, following the guidelines of a carefully designed Health & Safety Protocol that designates a wide range of protective measures.

Your Travel Plans
The Greek government has determined how the country will welcome travelers, carry out the necessary diagnostic screening and keep everyone safe throughout summer 2021.

All travellers are required to:

Complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 48 hours prior to entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of stay while in Greece.

As of April 19th, travelers arriving in Greece should possess a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. This test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over the age of 5), regardless of the epidemiological situation existent in the country of departure.

If the traveler has completed his/her vaccination (i.e., 14 days have elapsed since the last vaccination, depending on the doses required) and holds a vaccination certificate, then proof of a negative test is not required.

Vaccination certificates for the vaccines Sputnik, Sinovac, etc., not approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) also exempt visitors from the obligation of producing a negative PCR test. Acceptable vaccines are: Pfizer BioNtech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca/Oxford, Novavax, Johnson + Johnson/Janssen, Sinovac Biotech, Gamaleya (Sputnik), Cansino Biologics, Sinopharm.

Acharavi Beach Resort will be offering access to all guests for Covid-19 Rapid or PCR testing during your holiday stay as many different medical centers in Corfu offer PCR and we will be happy to assist you arranging an appointment.

The Acharavi Beach Hotel Health & Safety Protocol
The Acharavi Beach Hote Health & Safety Protocol has been rigorously implemented based on certified protocols issued by the World Health Organization, the Greek government, and the Greek Ministry of Tourism, thus following the below principles:

• Enhanced and ongoing Staff training in COVID-19 protection and prevention matters, appropriate use of PPE, and implementation of emergency action plans.
• We have congregated a special team, the Acharavi Beach Wellness Ambassadors, who will be at your disposal throughout your stay, to share any kind of advice for your protection and well being, along with sanitation measures and other relevant information.
• Intensified cleaning & disinfection across all high-volume touch-points & guestrooms with Ecolab certified products.
• Installation of contactless disinfection stations in all public areas.
• Doctor on call 24/7 to provide special care.
• Implementation of High Standards of food safety – HACCP procedures.
• Protective equipment for our staff (masks, gloves).
• Our staff’s temperature will be monitored every day while keeping records of previous travels and health info.

Welcoming you
We have set up an express contactless registration and departure process at our hotel, to make you feel safe right from the start while welcoming you with our brightest smile — even though you won’t be able to see it behind our masks, you will feel our friendly vibes. We keep the appropriate social distancing at the reception area, where you will also find clear and helpful signage to help you through the process.

• You are encouraged to limit face-to-face interactions and enjoy a safe stay by using the QR codes digital info points.
• An updated check-in and check-out timeline will allow adequate time and space for abiding by social distancing in the reception area: Check-in 15:00 & Check-out 11:00.

• Prioritization of payment by contactless Debit/Credit Card.

In public areas

• Airy spaces with fresh air circulating in all indoor spaces.
• A/C not in use in Public Areas across the Hotel.
• The hotel's lobbies, restaurants and bars will operate at maximum capacity, to ensure adequate space for social distancing and adjusted layouts.
• Use of certified providers for the regular disinfection of public areas and rooms.
• Installation of disinfection stations in all public areas.
• Clear Safety Signage in all common areas.
• Elevator use at once by same family members or guests from the same room.
• Specially designated areas at the beach and by the pool, respecting social distancing rules.

In your room
The warm atmosphere and comforts of your room will not change a bit, however, you’ll find a few changes that will ensure your safe stay:

• All our cleaning schedules and protocols are enhanced and special equipment will be used.
• Rooms will be deep cleaned and disinfected with Ecolab products and hospital hygiene standards.
• All printed hotel directories and menus have been replaced with contactless digital directories: scan the QR code that you will find in your room, using your mobile or tablet.
• Our staff will try to keep entering your room to the minimum. Therefore, on arrival, you can choose whether to allow room – cleaning service every  day or avoid it at all. Do not worry though, clean linen and all the essentials will be provided to you on your request.
• Some of the non-essential room equipment like decorative fabrics and pillows, printed material, mini bar stock will be removed.
• We will be providing you with personal protective equipment like masks and gloves on your request, although not required by guests.
• All checked out rooms will be thoroughly disinfected and certified clean before getting ready for new guests.

Enjoying your meals with safety
We’re extending our restaurant hours to make up for a maximum capacity and making even more use of our relaxing outdoor seating areas so you can enjoy al fresco dining breathing the fresh sea breeze. You’ll also find a few new changes to make your experience safe:

• Restaurants with alfresco seating arrangements.
• Bars & Counters will not serve guests directly, there will be table service only.
• You are required to use hand sanitizers upon arrival and departure from all restaurants.
• Tables can seat a maximum of 6 persons.
• Full breakfast will be served to our restaurant daily. We have set the tables to both our main restaurant and “Thines ala carte restaurant & bar” in a distance that meets social distancing measures and we will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all equipment used.
• Our buffets will be there as usual, but our staff will be there, in their protective equipment, happy to serve you themselves. A face mask is required from you when around the buffets.In addition, we will also provide you with disposable gloves to use when choosing your meal.Our restaurant manager will be there too to implement all the social distancing measures needed.
• Dinner and bar services will be conducted in the same manner.
• Digital Menus available via QR codes on each table.
• Revised menus focusing on local cuisine with high nutrition healthy options.
• Extended restaurant time table: Breakfast 07:00-10:15 / Dinner 18:30-21:15.
• Enjoy a great selection of snacks at the pool and the beach between 12:00-16:00.
• A la carte Mediterranean “Thines “ restaurant 12:00-21:00.
• Sanitation of tables will be carried out after each guest. Outlets are sanitized after each service.

COVID-19 will not stop us from having fun
At Acharavi Beach Hotel you will have the fun of your life with your family and friends every evening, without worrying about your safety — we have got you covered!

• Furniture has been rearranged in all public areas, bars, and restaurants, to accommodate social distancing.
• To avoid large gatherings, only light evening entertainment will be offered this year.

Healthy body in a healthy mind: making the most of our facilities while being safe
Enjoy an array of activities, with a few changes here and there:

• Beach & pools will operate respecting social distancing regulations, in and out of the water.
• The swimming pools will be available from 10:00-18:00.
• All sunbeds will be intensively cleaned & disinfected after each use.
• The Fitness Gym will operate between 10.00-18.00. Only two persons can be present at the same time, and reservation is required.
• The Tennis Court will be available respecting health protocols – reservations required through reception.

What YOU can do to protect yourself

• We strongly recommend that you take a Covid-19 test up to 72 hours before traveling, for your own well being and all those around you.
• You are required to follow the visible safety signage for direction & social distancing.
• Do not use areas or spaces that are undergoing a disinfecting process.
• You are required to follow the instructions for showering after using the pools.
• In case you are not feeling well, please let the reception know immediately.
• Turn to our Wellness Ambassadors if you have any questions, need further information or require help — they will be at our your disposal, any time you need them.
